We are a small, France-based boutique born in the heart of Bergerac, a medieval town nestled on the banks of the Dordogne river in the southwest of France. For centuries, Bergerac has been famous for three things: its vineyards, its cobbled streets, and a long-nosed poet-swordsman named Cyrano.
Cyrano Gifts & Souvenirs was created to help travelers take a piece of this beautiful corner of France home — without the mass-produced fridge magnets and the plastic Eiffel Towers.
Who was Cyrano?
Immortalized by Edmond Rostand’s 1897 play, Cyrano de Bergerac is France’s most romantic literary hero: a brilliant poet, a fearless duelist, and a man whose big heart was matched only by his legendary nose. His story — of unspoken love, courage and eloquence — has inspired readers all over the world for more than a century.
Every product in our shop carries a little piece of that spirit: wit, panache, elegance, and a touch of French romance.
